Oh yeah what a gig in Invercargill's Civic Theatre on Friday June 13th to kick off the tour. Packed out theatre. The sound seemed to get louder and louder as the gig wore on, it was rockin' hard. I spoke with Murray Burns, the Invercargill born keyboards player for Mi-Sex in June 2013 at the Southland Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame show and he confirmed that the band had deliberately played very loud at the gig. The mission was accomplished.
